Angie Young
Executive General Manager, Thermal Generation, Synergy (Electricity Generation and Retail Corporation)
Angie has held senior and executive positions for leading organisations across Australia and has been part of the Synergy Executive team since she joined the business in 2014. Angie has worked in executive positions as GM Human Resources, GM Sustainability and was a secondment as Chief Information Officer.
As Executive General Manager, Thermal Generation, Angie is responsible for safely and efficiently providing reliable energy and essential services to Western Australians through gas and coal generation, while managing the decommissioning and transition of assets. This includes the development of the Kwinana Battery Energy Storage System facility.
Angie holds a Bachelor of Arts (UWA) and a Master of Business Administration (UNSW).
