Community Engagement Officer, The LOTE Agency
As a Community Engagement Officer for The LOTE Agency, Carla works with culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) communities on large-scale community engagement projects for clients including Sustainability Victoria, the Federal Department of Health and the AFL. Having recently migrated to Australia, Carla brings a wealth of intercultural understanding, conflict resolution/peacebuilding, and mediation experience. Because of Carla’s indigenous background and her previous professional and volunteer experience with Native Americans, Native Hawaiians, and other minority groups, she understands the cultural nuances of cross-cultural communication.
