David is the Director of Department of Energy, Environment & Climate Action (DEECA) in the Victorian Government. His team includes the Renewable Hydrogen and Energy Carriers team, as well as emerging energy technologies, energy digitalisation and industry engagement. The hydrogen team develops and supports initiatives that underpin the growth of Victoria’s renewable hydrogen sector. Headline initiatives include the Victorian Renewable Hydrogen Industry Development Plan, Hume Hydrogen Highway, Victorian Hydrogen Cluster Network, a series of hydrogen grant programs, and Victoria’s input into the National hydrogen agenda. The team also works directly with renewable hydrogen projects and proponents across the state.
