
Mitchel McCrystal
Commercial Manager - Development (Hydrogen), Stanwell Corporation Limited
Mitch is a trained energy economist with over 15 years of experience in advisory-based roles in both the public and private sectors. He is currently employed in Stanwell’s hydrogen team as a Commercial Manager – Development. In his role, Mitch is responsible for developing commercial and market strategies to support the Central Queensland Hydrogen Project.
Prior to working in Stanwell’s hydrogen team, Mitch was the commercial lead in Stanwell’s Growth and Future Energy division, where he led commercial investigations into Stanwell’s two large-scale battery projects.
Mitch has also worked as a Director at the Queensland Government’s Department of Natural Resources, Mines and Energy, where he led the development of commercial policies for the resources and energy sectors. Prior to that, he was a manager at Ernst & Young, working in the transaction advisory practice. Mitch holds a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Queensland.
